ReticleKit collects nothing. This page explains what that means in practice.

Nothing. ReticleKit has no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers, no accounts and no third-party SDKs. We never see who installs the app, which crosshair you pick, or how often you use it.
The App Store privacy label for ReticleKit is Data Not Collected.
Your settings — the crosshair you picked, its colour, size and position, your saved crosshairs, and any PNG you imported — are written to ReticleKit's own sandbox container on your Mac and never leave it.
Deleting the app removes them. Nothing is synced, backed up to us, or recoverable by anyone else.
ReticleKit makes no network requests. It contains no code that contacts a server, and there is nothing to opt out of.
For transparency: the app is signed with the
com.apple.security.network.client entitlement. That is required
purely because ReticleKit's settings panel is rendered by WKWebView, and
macOS refuses to start WebKit's helper process inside the App Sandbox without
it — even for local content. The entitlement grants a capability the app
never uses.
ReticleKit is a one-time purchase through the Mac App Store. Apple handles the payment and shares no personal or payment details with us. We could not identify a buyer even if we wanted to.
If you email [email protected], we obviously see your message and address. We use it to answer you and nothing else — no mailing list, no sharing, no selling. Ask us to delete the thread and we will.
ReticleKit is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, of any age.
